Dance Card

Set to a score by Pulitzer Prize and Grammy-winning composer Jennifer Higdon, Dance Card is a sweeping ensemble work created for Philadelphia Ballet, unfolding within the glamour and effervescence of a champagne-fuelled social gathering. Blending intricate partnering, theatrical interplay, and expansive ensemble choreography, the ballet moves through shifting moments of elegance, celebration, and emotional tension. Originally premiered as part of Philadelphia Ballet’s 2021 digital season, the work later received its Academy of Music stage premiere in 2025.
